Tarla will guide you through creating a polaroid photograph, sharing her expertise. You will be introduced to some of the portraits taken in the Masterji exhibition and explore the themes featured – stories of migration, home, and family portraits. Using the exhibition as inspiration you will have the opportunity to create your own polaroid’s to take away.

Tarla Patel is a local Coventry-based Artist, Photographer and Co-curator of Compton Verney’s Masterji Exhibition. Daughter of photographer Masterji, Tarla grew up in a creative environment, helping her father run his studio in their home, she learnt first-hand from a young age what’s involved in becoming an accomplished photographer.

You will have an opportunity to visit the exhibition after the workshop.
