Landscape and Imagination Study Day

Join us for an immersive study day exploring the themes of our current exhibition, Landscape and Imagination. Enjoy a variety of talks by experts, curators and artists discussing how the designed landscape has shaped and been shaped by the visual arts throughout history. The talks include the renowned artists Patricia Johansson and David Nash (who will discuss their land art practice), landscape designer and historian Todd Longstaffe-Gowan (discussing his book English Garden Eccentrics), Compton Verney Curator Jane Simpkiss (discussing women and landscape in art) and a tour from exhibition curator Professor Christiana Payne.

Tea and Coffee will be included.
