Supported Interns

Compton Verney works in partnership with Think Forward, Solihull College & University Centre, Stratford-upon-Avon College and Warwickshire County Council to deliver a high-quality Supported Internship programme.

The Supported Internships are structured study programmes based primarily at the place of work , like Compton Verney. They are designed to enable young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to achieve sustainable, paid employment by equipping them with the skills they need for work through learning in the workplace.

At Compton Verney, roles available are varied and include working in the grounds, retail, catering, and learning departments. Each young person will have access to a job coach who is fully trained to support on the job training as well as deal with any concerns the employer or young person may have.

To find out more, please visit the Stratford-Upon-Avon College website or please contact Sallie Partridge on Sallie.Partridge@solihull.ac.uk
