Come and explore Anglo Saxon life through a range of outdoor, hands on activities led by our Forest School Leader at the Forest School site in the Compton Verney grounds.

• Build and construct a traditional Anglo Saxon hut using natural resources and materials on site.
• Weave traditional nets and fishing rope
• Play Anglo Saxon ‘Checkers’
• Have a go at lighting a fire for survival, food and protection
• An opportunity to hold a selection of Saxon artefacts
