Tai Chi with The Swan School of Tai Chi

Tuesdays (Chen style tai chi – adv only), 11:30am – 12:30pm
Thursdays (Chi Gung – open to all), 11:30am – 12:30pm
Third Saturday of the month, 11:15am – 12:30pm

Experience the benefits of Tai Chi, which combines deep breathing and relaxation with flowing movements, to reduce stress, and improve posture, balance, and muscle strength, all in the beautiful surroundings of our parkland.

Pilates, Beginner/ Intermediate, with April Kent

Tuedays, 5.30pm – 6.30pm

A 60 minutes beautifully flowing evening Pilates session to awaken the spine, strengthen our core and back, and bring awareness to breath, body and mind, moving together, in the picturesque and tranquil grounds of Compton Verney.

Equipment you need with you
Essential: a yoga/ pilates length mat, a hand towel, a water bottle
Optional: a small hand weight, 2kg-3kg, a small Pilates ball/ small cushion, a resistance band

Yoga, Mixed Level, & Silent Meditation Walks with Sara Palmer

Hatha Yoga
Wednesdays, 10.30am – 11.30am

Gentle Yoga
Wednesdays, 12pm – 1pm

Join Yoga therapist and teacher, Sara Palmer, for traditional Hatha Yoga classes in our beautiful grounds, and experience the physical, mental-emotional and energetic benefits of Yoga posture and breathing practices. The classes will be a mixed level. Beginners are welcome although it will be better to have at least a little Yoga experience.

Equipment you need with you
Yoga mat, Yoga block or cushion, and blanket

Silent Mediation Walks
Last Sunday of the month, 10am – 11am

On these silent Sunday morning walking sessions Sara will guide you into mindful, meditative walking practice. Each month you will be supported by a different awareness technique designed to help bring your mind into the present moment and into an enjoyment of the richness of the world around you.

Comfortable clothing is recommended. Please bring a blanket and/ or cushion for seated meditation.
