Heritage Open Days: Friday 11 and Saturday 12 September. We anticipate being very busy on both days. Saturday advance booking is now sold out. Parking is limited and entry cannot be guaranteed if the car park is full. Please car share or visit later in the day where possible.

The Fifties Allotment

A Fifties allotment in our park, which featured a range of vegetables and popular flowers that would have been available in the 1950s.

We planted a selection of organically grown heritage seeds which over the summer grew and were harvested potatoes, broad beans, onions, cauliflower and much more.

The allotment was generously sponsored by Wyn Grant in memory of Maggie Grant.
