The Textile Fair is taking place in the ground floor galleries. All visitors, including members, must pre-book either fair or admission tickets before travelling due to limited parking; fair ticket holders will be prioritised. Those without a fair ticket won’t be able to access the ground floor galleries.

Marx was attracted to the texture of a piece of plank wood and from this she carved the main block for this picture. Cut in a simple, yet dynamic way, her seated Siamese also resembles an Egyptian mummified effigy.
