The Weave
Collaborative making in the meadow
Every Fri from 24 Jul - 21 Aug, and Sat 22 AugTaking part in The Weave is included in the cost of your day admission.
What to expect
You’re all invited to contribute to this temporary outdoor weave installation in Old Town Meadow, guided by artists Matt, Sarah and Lorna.
Help create a giant outdoor woven sculpture that grows and develops throughout the summer holiday. Weave natural materials like dried flowers, hay (both cut from the meadow itself – bring your anti-histamines!) raffia, rope, cord, willow and garden twine around and between wooden pyramid frames of different sizes. It’ll look different week to week.
