Autumn Bird Identification for Beginners

Autumn is a time for change and we welcome birds arriving in Warwickshire from other parts of the UK and Europe which will spend the winter here including fieldfares and redwings.

Course leader Ed Drewitt, author and experienced naturalist, will be on hand to help you learn how to identify autumn birds in the field from blackbirds to blue tits and redwings to reed buntings including their calls.

There will be a mix of indoor and outdoor activities including an introductory talk on the different species and several walks outside to put your identification skills into practice ‘in the field’.
