Access Card
We’re always looking to improve the booking journey for
customers with access requirements and are pleased
to have launched our new Access Registration Scheme
in partnership with Nimbus Disability.
Nimbus Disability is a social enterprise and organisation. run by and for disabled people. and is recognised as a leading authority on accessible ticketing in the UK.
Their Access Card is a universal way of communicating access requirements and offers greater privacy for people with disabilities.
Your card means you don’t need to carry supporting documents or explain circumstances or requirements everywhere you go. You’ll only need to supply the information once – when you register for the scheme.
Registering is a three-step process, and once complete, valid for three years.
You can choose to register for either their paid Access Card, a physical card that is recognised at multiple venues, or a free Compton Verney Digital Access Pass Number, valid for Compton Verney only.

Frequently Asked Questions
I’m currently a member with an Essential Companion Pass, do I need to apply?
If you’re a member and already have an Essential Companion Pass alongside your membership, there is nothing you need to for now.
When your membership next comes up for renewal, please register for the Access Card, and on your membership renewal we’ll be happy to include an Essential Companion Pass too.
Why is the process changing and how does this benefit me?
This will enable us to fully understand the access requirements of our customers and provide reasonable adjustments, such as support on arrival, getting to the house and essential companion tickets. The system offers greater privacy, as disabled people with access requirements will no longer need to carry supporting documents or explain circumstances to staff. You’ll only need to supply information once to the Nimbus team, who can then issue you with an Access Card or a Digital Access Pass reference number – depending on which route you choose when signing up.
Our commitment to accessibility remains unchanged. Our friendly team is still here to support you if you have any questions or need assistance. For further support, please email info@comptonverney.org.uk or call 01926 645500 and we are happy to discuss your access requirements on an individual basis.
Can I come along on the day, without registering for the Access Card?
If you wish to book tickets in advance then registering with the scheme is still the best way for us to support you to visit. If you have any questions or concerns then we would be happy to discuss this on an individual basis.
I’m having trouble with registration, who can help?
If you’re having trouble registering, or have any questions about your application please contact Nimbus directly on cards@accesscard.online or by ringing 0330 808 5108 and they will be happy to help.
