On Sunday 13 July, the Tempo Half Marathon will begin and end at Compton Verney.

Please note that we are still open to visitors on this day, however there will be a rolling road block in the morning, and the site may be busier than usual due to this event so please allow yourself more time to travel.

What
we do

What we do at Compton Verney

A world class art space in a park.
A place to discover art, explore nature and spark creativity.

Compton Verney is a unique blend of gallery, landscape and experience — set in a stunning Robert Adam mansion surrounded by a Capability Brown-designed park in the heart of Warwickshire.

Here, you’ll find:

  • Six permanent art collections
  • Exciting exhibitions and installations
  • A vibrant sculpture park
  • Creative workshops and family-friendly events
  • 120 acres of meadows, woodland, and wild spaces to roam

More Than a Beautiful Place

But we’re more than a beautiful place.

We’re a charity dedicated to connecting people with art, nature and creativity — because we believe these things have the power to transform lives. Whether it’s a child’s first gallery visit, a moment of calm in nature, or an encounter with a new idea, we’re here to offer meaningful experiences for all.

What Makes Us Different

We do things differently. Everything we do is guided by our values:

  • Collaborative – we work with artists, partners and communities
  • Inclusive – everyone is welcome here
  • Bold – we take creative risks and ask questions
  • Sustainable – we care for our environment and look to the future
  • Fun – joy is at the heart of what we offer

A Place for Regeneration

Our ambition is to become a model place of regeneration through art — helping the world to grow, renew and thrive. Culturally. Emotionally. Environmentally.

So whether you’re looking for a family day out, a moment of inspiration, or simply a walk in a beautiful landscape, Compton Verney is here to surprise and delight you.
