Info About Your Visit to Compton Verney This Weekend
The Textile Fair is happening at Compton Verney this weekend (Friday 6 – Sunday 8 November 2026) and we’re expecting the car park in particular to be busier than usual. Alongside the fair, situated in the ground floor gallery spaces, Compton Verney is open as normal. So whether you’re coming to the Textile Fair or not, you can still enjoy what Compton Verney has to offer.
Different to usual; please pre-book
To enter Compton Verney this Friday to Sunday, we ask that all visitors, including members, prebook their ticket to either the fair or for general admission. You can book a fair ticket or admission online or by phoning 01926 645500 between 9am – 5pm. Visitors who arrive during peak times without having booked their fair or gallery admission are likely to be denied entry to the car park so that those who’ve booked get priority.
Coming to the Textile Fair?
All visitors to the fair (including members) need to purchase a Textile Fair ticket. Tickets cost £8. Please only arrive at the Welcome Centre at the time slot you have booked for. This time is noted on your ticket. Depending on car park capacity, if you arrive well in advance of your time slot, you may be asked to come back nearer to the time.
For non-members, if you would like to explore the rest of the house and gallery spaces, you can buy a Fair and Gallery access ticket for £20.45 (the cost of a regular day ticket).
With a fair ticket, members are welcome to enjoy the fair and access everywhere else as normal.
Visiting but not coming to the Textile Fair?
Please still book admission in advance of your arrival and consider arriving after 1pm, especially on Friday and Saturday. Generally, afternoons are less busy and getting a space in the car park is more likely.
Getting here and parking
If you can, please consider car sharing to help reduce traffic and support sustainability. Car Park Assistants will be on hand to guide you and monitor capacity.

The Textile Fair: 10am – 4pm
Entry to the site for the Textile Fair is in accordance with the time slot you booked. Time slots available are 10am, 11.30am, 1pm and 2.30pm.
