Planning to visit us this week? Here’s some tips to help you enjoy your visit during the heatwave

  • If you’d like to avoid the peak temperatures, we’ll be open from 10am – 5pm, Wed 24 – Sun 28 Jun
  • The shuttle bus will be running throughout the week, going between the Welcome Centre and the galleries/café
  • The galleries are climate-controlled, take your time exploring the art collections and exhibitions in the cool
  • The woodland area by the lake provides plenty of shade 
  • You can top up your water with our free water station in the café
  • Cold drinks and ice creams can be purchased at both the Welcome Centre and café

Great British Summer Savings

From 25 June – 31 August*, we’ll be taking part in the Great British Summer Savings scheme. 

 

Enjoy your day, your way. Find peace, art, creativity, inspiration, something familiar, something new. Be challenged, comforted, engaged, restored. Visit with family, friends or on your own, and this summer visit for less.

Alongside our free admission for those 18 and under and programme of free activities, from 25 June – 31 August, we’ll also be offering;

  • Reduced adults admission prices – visit us from £17.94, you can even use your Tesco Clubcard points towards your ticket cost
  • Reduced prices on Children’s Lunch Menu items, all reduced to £7 each

The savings aren’t just for those visiting with children, they’re for anyone purchasing a full price day ticket.

  • Free for those aged 18 and under
  • Adults admission is being reduced from £22.27 to £19.54 on the day, or £17.94 if you prebook
  • We also offer £2 admission for those on Universal Credit or Pension Credit
  • Arriving by foot, bike or public transport? Make use of our green tickets, just £10, available to purchase on the website, or on the day
  • Use Tesco Clubcard points towards your admission cost too, find out more

  • We’re open from 10am – 5pm, Wednesday – Sunday and Bank Holiday Mondays, so spend a morning, afternoon or full day with us, there’s plenty to explore
  • Admission gets you access to the 120 acres of grounds and 3 floors of art collections and exhibitions (which are all in climate controlled, cooler spaces)
  • Join free tours of the art collections and exhibitions on Wednesdays and Thursdays, or of the grounds with landscape manager, Fiona Tansey on some Fridays.
