This spring sees the launch of our latest fundraising campaign, Brighter Futures: Art & Nature for Every Child.
Our goal is to raise £42,000 to support us to welcome 6,500 children from our region to free or subsidised workshops at Compton Verney.
Our workshops provide time in nature and opportunities to grow creatively, building resilience, confidence, and imagination, and improving mental wellbeing.
And we know they’re needed:
Midlands pupils are 20% less likely than those in London to visit galleries, and access to green space in the West Midlands is set to fall below minimum standards by 2040.
Workshops are heavily subsidised to keep them within the reach of schools and nurseries – and we offer free visits and support with transport to schools who couldn’t otherwise afford to come.
Recent evaluation shows that 93% of children feel more included and 79% feel happier after taking part in our learning workshops.
That’s why, between Tuesday 17th March and Tuesday 24th March, we’re asking you to support our campaign with a donation.
For the very first time, we’re taking part in the Big Give, meaning that donations made in the week of the campaign will be doubled
– making your support go further, and enabling us to continue running inspirational programmes for children and young people across Warwickshire, the West Midlands, and the wider region.
The children absolutely loved it and got so much out of the day. There was such a buzz coming back to school … I think it’s one of the best trips I’ve ever been part of and I’ve been on quite a few!”

For your donation to be doubled by match funders through Big Give, it needs to be made between Tuesday 17th and Tuesday 24th March 2026; we would be so grateful for your support.
