Why have you changed your Membership offer?

As a charity we feel passionate that our visitors and members should be able to experience all of the art, nature and creativity that we can offer.

We also heard from our visitors and members that they found the different schemes and prices confusing. So, we’ve created one simple membership scheme that gives all of our members access to the grounds, gardens, house and exhibitions, plus other benefits that will help our members get the most out of their visit.

Our memberships start from £34.40 for an individual.  There is also a joint membership for adults in the same household or an Individual + guest membership giving you the option to bring a guest every time.  We continue to offer free entry to children up to the age of 18.

We feel this offers excellent value for money compared with other similar membership schemes and the support we receive from our members helps us in our charitable mission to protect and enrich our artistic collections and this incredibly special place for the benefit of our visitors.  We thank all our members for their ongoing support.

For full details of our membership benefits and prices please see the benefits tab or pick up a leaflet on your next visit.

Why can’t I pay just for a walk in the grounds?

Our admission tickets and membership prices are kept as low as possible to ensure that you are able to stretch your legs, explore the natural surroundings and hopefully escape from the everyday.  We feel really passionately that everyone be welcomed to explore everything that Compton Verney has to offer and assure you that the price you pay will support our work in helping Compton Verney to thrive.

Can I change my type of Membership half way through the year?

Yes, you’re welcome to upgrade to any of our current Membership types – just speak to a member of our team, phone 01926 645500 or email members@comptonverney.org.uk

Why have you taken away guest passes?

We have introduced a new Membership type – Individual + guest. This enables you to join as a member and bring a different friend or family member every time you visit.

Can I change to Auto-card renewal Membership?

Members will receive a letter when their Membership is coming up for renewal and you have the option to set this up.
Auto card renewal is a great way to always know your Membership is valid, whilst saving money on the annual fee. It will renew automatically each year unless you cancel or there is a payment failure and you will receive a reminder a month in advance of your renewal.

Can I Gift Aid my Membership?

If you are a UK taxpayer, please do Gift Aid your Membership. Gift Aid increases the value of your gift to Compton Verney by 25% at no extra cost to you, by enabling Compton Verney to claim back tax from HM Revenue and Customs. To qualify, you need to be a UK taxpayer and pay income or capital gains tax at least equal to the amount of Gift Aid claimed in that tax year.
