A toast to Olivia & Mark

We’re raising a toast Olivia and Mark, who couldn’t get married on their planned date but toasted the day passing in the best way!

Olivia and Mark were supposed to be celebrating their marriage with their friends and family on 16^th May at Compton Verney. We are all sad that this was not to be this year, but lovely Olivia and Mark have rearranged for spring next year with us. On 16^th May 2020 they celebrated their ‘would have been date’ on a beautiful sunny day in their garden, toasting their future wedding day and marking the passing date with a wedding cake delivered by a wonderful neighbour (in a socially distanced way!) a few beers, video chats with friends and family, music, bunting, balloons and a takeaway!

Olivia and Mark said “We were of course gutted to not be at the beautiful grounds of Compton Verney, but at least we had nice weather in our garden 😂. We had a video chat with friends and family, our neighbours dropped off a ‘wedding cake’ and we treated ourselves to a takeaway from a lovely restaurant near us.”

We are thrilled to hear Olivia & Mark marked this important day and we are already starting to talk about next spring and the couple’s plans. Well done Olivia and Mark! Thank you for sharing these great pictures with us! See you soon xxx
