1. Woodland Tribe

UK masters of constructive play, Woodland Tribe, are back at Compton Verney this Easter to build the ultimate treehouse!

Located in the woodland at Compton Verney, children (and adults) will be given the chance to use real tools to build their ideal fantasy treehouse! Each session will encourage creative thinking and on play structures co-designed and built with you. This will be the woodland hideaway all children (and parents) dream about.

2. Animation Camp

Is your child a budding film-maker, animator, graphic designer, or just really excited to have a go at a new skill?

This four day animation camp will include learning all about the principles of animation, stop motion, storyboarding, character and set design, sound recording, and more. Once you have edited your film with sound and music, there will be a screening to parents and carers at the end of the week!

3. Sensing Naples: Family Day

Our new exhibition ‘Sensing Naples’ opens on 1st April and we invite you and your family to celebrate the with us!

‘Sensing Naples: Family Day’ will feature live music, Italian food, a volcanologist, and a host of family-focused creative play options as well as two new contemporary works that harness the senses!

4. Get Mucky, Get Making

Rolling together the imagination of the art gallery and the wildness of the woodland, Get Mucky, Get Making Sessions are back this Easter!

Each session will include a focus, that might be a particular material or theme, and our amazing Learning Leaders and Volunteers will support you and your child to explore lots of different ways to interact with the materials.

5. A Day Out

With a family discovery room, adventure playground, bird hide, and host of family-friendly activities across our permanent collections and exhibitions, why not enjoy Compton Verney with your family for the whole day?
