Creative Workshop

These workshops are an introductory and playful approach to creating. Suitable for beginners or those with no experience, designed to build confidence and to learn new skills.

Access All Areas Members & Local Pass Holders, £20 per person per workshop
Non- Members, £25 per person per workshop (includes Grounds Admission)

All materials are provided. These workshops take place outdoors, in our Adam Hall or education studio.

SOLD OUT – Experimental Drawing
Wed 21 Oct, 1pm – 3pm
Expand your variety of mark making with this experimental drawing class, this workshop encourages a playful approach to exploring mark making and using materials. Inspired by the landscape this workshop takes place outdoors.

SOLD OUT – Exploring Colour
Wed 4 Nov, 1pm – 3pm
Using paint and drawing materials you will explore and experiment with colour and light within the landscape to create your own works.
Location: Parkland/ Education studio

Wed 11 Nov, 1pm – 3pm
An introduction to still life drawing, you will explore proportion, composition and drawing techniques.
Location: Education studio

Developing your Drawing Skills
Wed 18 Nov, 1pm – 3pm
This workshop aims to build your confidence and skills with line drawing. Working from subjects in and around the landscape you will create observational drawings and equip yourself with new skills.

This series of Creative Workshops will be taught by artist, printmaker and educator Emma Gardner. She creates original artwork using collage, photography and printmaking processes. Emma’s practice is shaped by her response to place, the environment and its transition.
