Planning your visit
Grounds are open to visitors, 10am – 5pm, Tue – Sun. We recognise how important the natural environment and special spaces are to our local community for their daily exercise and mental rejuvenation.
We are asking all visitors who live outside of the local area to adhere to the restrictions and not to visit Compton Verney. We continue to follow Government guidance, please ensure that you do not visit if you are unwell, are self isolating, or have been in contact with someone who is ill. At all times your safety is our priority – Stay Local and Stay Safe.
Opening Times & Prices
SPRING OPENING TIMES

Tue – Sun, 10am- 5pm, by pre-booked entry time slots (last entry, 3pm – 4pm)

Children (aged 0-18) FREE
Essential carers FREE when accompanying the person they care for. Please email info@comptonverney.org.uk in advance to set up a booking. Please allow a minimum of 2 working day for your query to be answered.
Due to a limited capacity it is compulsory that admission is pre-booked online, this is for your safety and that of our staff. Admission is by pre-booked slots only and you will be turned away without timed entry passes.
You must book timed admission for each attendee, including children (aged 0-18).
Please arrive within your selected time slot. Once you are on site you are welcome to enjoy your visit for long as you like, our until we close at 5pm.

ACCESS ALL AREAS AND LOCAL PASS HOLDERS
Pre-book your FREE Grounds admission online.
- Choose the date you’d like to visit and select the number of Passes required. You will need one per person (including children aged 0-18).
Please ensure you select the correct Adult Pass for your Membership type e.g. if you have a Local Pass please select the Local Pass Adult option. - Input your Membership number to validate your booking.
- Make sure you have received an email confirmation with your 5 digit booking reference number, please always check your junk folder.
DAY VISITORS

Information for your visit
CAR PARK & ARRIVAL TO SITE
We have a large car park available for our visitors to use free of charge. Our car park is open during our opening times; Tue – Sun, 10am – 5pm.
Please arrive within your booked 1 hour time slot and have your email confirmation to hand as this will be checked by a member of our team.
You must wear a mask whilst waiting to be checked in and whilst interacting with staff.
FACILITIES & SAFETY
We provide range of Covid-safe measures designed to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors and staff, including hand sanitising stations across our site and limiting the number of visitors to ensure plenty of space for all.
Please respect other visitors and maintain social distancing around the site.
The toilets in our Welcome Centre and in the main house are open and available for visitors to use. These are regularly monitored and cleaned throughout the day.
FOOD & DRINK
Pod in the Park, open Tue – Sun
Enjoy a range of takeaway food and drink from the new Pod in the Park. Including freshly ground coffee, home made cakes, pastries and sandwiches plus much more.

Toilets are available in our Welcome Centre and in the main house for visitors to use. Please wear a face covering while inside the toilets and use the hand sanitiser provided before entering.

Bring your wellies and make sure you keep them firmly on your feet because we’re having fun turning old ones into cheerful creations for you to spot along the way! Pick up a Wellie Trail from the Welcome Centre to help you find them all.

Climb, swing and zip through the air at the Woodland Playground.
