My Membership number doesn't work when I try to book online

Make sure you select the right type of membership for the adult entry, either Local Pass or Access All Areas, you can then use your Membership number to validate your booking.

Make sure you select the right type of membership for the adult entry, either Local Pass or Access All Areas, you can then use your Membership number to validate your booking.  If it says that your card has expired, you can buy a new membership/local pass on our website or call on 01926 645500 us to renew.

We offer a range of different membership types to suit all needs and budgets.

Access All Areas Pass, from £37 – Unlimited Entry to our Park, Collections and Exhibitions for 12 months.
Local Pass, from £16.50 – Unlimited Entry to our Park and Collections for 12 months.

I'm not a Member, can I still visit?

A Day Pass for the Grounds is £5 per adult. Admission for children (aged 0 – 18) is FREE.
All visitors are required to pre-book an admission time slot online.

How local do you have to be for the Local Pass?

There are no postcode restrictions on the Local Pass. We’ve called it the Local Pass to reflect the fact that we want to be a destination that local peple feel a sense of ownership of.

I'm a new Member, how can I book my Grounds visit?

All tickets must be booked online in advance.

Please ensure you have received and email confirmation of your Membership purchase as this will include your Temporary (TMP) Membership number.

Choose the date you’d like to visit and select the number of tickets required. You will need one per person.

Use your TMP number to validate your booking. You can continue to use your TMP number to book visits to our Grounds until we reopen our Welcome Centre when you will be able to pick up your new Membership Card(s).

Can I arrive any time within my time slot

Yes, your ticket(s) is valid for entry during your booked time slot. To allow us to safely manage the flow of visitors to site please arrive within your selected time.

I'm an Access All Areas Member, can I use Guest Passes?

Yes, Access All Areas Members are welcome to use their guest passes but, as we are limiting visitor numbers, we ask you to restrict this to one per member. Please book for yourself online and email info@comptonverney.org.uk to add a Guest to your booking. Please provide your 5 digit booking reference number in your email. Please allow a minimum of 2 working days for your query to be answered.

I cannot now visit on my booked day, can I move my booking?

In certain circumstances it may be possible to move your booking to an alternative day/time if there are available slots. Please email info@comptonverney.org.uk to enquire about moving your booking. Please allow a minimum of 2 working days for your query to be answered.

Are picnics allowed?

Yes, picnics are allowed and there a picnic tables and benches around the site.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes, well behaved dogs on short leads are permitted in our Grounds. We kindly ask that dog owners act responsibly and follow our Dog Walking Code at all time. Find out more about visiting with your dog.

Is the house open?

The galleries in the house will be reopening on Tue 18 May, following government guidelines. Our shop is open in the house from Tue13 Apr.

Is the cafe open?

We have a Pod in the Park for coffees/snacks and our cafe will be reopening in the house from Tue 18 May.

When can I book for the Galleries?

We are opening the Art Gallery on Tue 18 May, following government guidelines. Pre bookable tickets will be released nearer the date. Please keep an eye on our website for updates or sign up to our mailing list.

Are the Grounds wheelchair friendly?

Throughout the park there are footpaths which have either a tarmac or compacted gravel surface. There are a few inclines in places.

Will I need to wear a mask or face covering?

We ask that visitors wear a face covering while waiting to be checked in and while interacting with staff. Face coverings must also be worn in the toilets.

Can I bring a guest?

You can bring one family guest per member if you are an Access All Areas member. Book for yourself online and then email info@comptonverney.org.uk to add a Guest to your booking. Please provide your 5 digit booking reference number in your email. Please all a minimum of 2 working days for your query to be answered.

Can I visit as a carer?

Yes you can visit for free as a carer.  Place your booking online and then email info@comptonverney.org.uk to add the free carer ticket. Please provide your 5 digit booking reference number in your email. Please all a minimum of 2 working days for your query to be answered.

Will you be giving out maps, leaflets, or trails?

While our Welcome Centre is closed our admissions team are not giving out paper maps or trails. You can download our site map  here.
Our Welcome Centre will reopen on Tue 13 Apr and you will be able to pick up a map on arrival. We will also have a variety of trails that will be available to purchase.
