Midsummer Festival 2020 – Sold Out

Midsummer is here and the fairies are gathering, but all is not well in the fairy kingdom! Follow Flo, our fairy expert, as she leads you through the woods to Titania’s Bower to meet the Fairy Queen and hear what strange dreams she’s been having…

In 1968, Compton Verney was the magical setting for Peter Hall’s celebrated film of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, starring Judi Dench and Helen Mirren. As part of the 2020 Midsummer Festival, join us for a short performance inspired by this history.

Created and performed by Hannah Young and Nicky Cox, using Shakespeare’s words.
