At Compton Verney Art Gallery and Park, we have introduced our ‘Gallery Social Distancing Policy’ – we have taken measures to ensure a hygienic and comfortable experience for all our visitors from the outset. This means that you can visit our galleries and not come into close contact with too many people in an enclosed space. We have a social distance welcome, hand sanitiser points, 2 metre square space for each person in our galleries, distanced tables in Compton Kitchen (so that people can choose to sit together or apart). Our front line staff are constantly cleaning handles and other public touch points across the site and with a smile. Our visitors have welcomed our proactive approach, we remain flexible and keep visitors informed of any pressure points in the building. At Compton Verney, there is also the great outdoors too, plenty of space (120 acres) to inhale fresh air and practice your own social distancing with or without your dog. We want to ensure you have the best possible visitor experience in challenging times.

    1. Hi Colin,

Thank you for your message. We have a number of digital resources and are working to put together a virtual tour of the exhibition. We aim to make this live on the ‘Cranach: Artist & Innovator’ page in the next few days. In the meantime, the Cranach Digital Archive has a vast amount of content that may be on interest to you. You can find it here
