Museums and galleries across the country now run health and wellbeing initiatives, Compton Verney being no exception. We’re delighted to be taking part as The National Alliance for Museums, Health & Wellbeing is coordinating the second National Museums & Wellbeing Week from 6 -12 March 2017.
Join in the activities that we have programmed that encourage Compton Verney’s Galleries & Park to be a place where you can unwind and relax.
Tuesday 7 March and Friday 10 March, 2pm – 3pm
Discover the ambiance of our beautiful landscape, a tour with Compton Verney’s Head of Landscape & Gardens, Gary Webb. This walk will offer a chance to soak up the gorgeous views and take in the surrounding nature.Find out more

Try out Tai Chi, an ancient Chinese tradition that has evolved through the centuries and referred to being ‘meditation in motion’. This practice is well known for many health benefits, and a winning combination for wellbeing when paired with our surrounding peaceful parkland.Find out more
Saturday 11 March, 11am – 4pm
Orienteering is great way to get active for people of all fitness levels and encourages exploring the outdoors in a different way. John from Octavian Droobers will be available to show you how to use compass and an orienteering map.Find out more
