Come along and spot some of Jane Austen’s memorable characters from all of her novels in our stunning Adam Hall and Women’s Library. Experience a blind tasting of mixed Austen readings and see if you can identify where they came from. Find out more about the period and listen to readings from Austen’s novels and writings. Have a go at an Austen Quiz or simply enjoy looking at the costumed characters in a beautiful setting.
Austentation Presents will perform music from Jane Austen’s time in the Chapel 2 – 2.30pm – 3 – 3.30pm.
We are giving visitors the opportunity to write with a quill pen and experience the challenges Jane Austen would have experienced when writing her novels.
Visitors can also enjoy a beautiful high tea in the Old Servants Hall.
