Heritage Open Days returns to Compton Verney, which basically means we’re free entry all day – yes FREE ENTRY! There’s no catch, just visit anytime between 11am and 5pm and see what we’re all about.

We’re one of many Warwickshire locations that are opening for Heritage Open Days for supporters of heritage and culture. You may therefore wish to combine a visit with another local venue, or indeed just head over to Compton Verney and try something different!

You’ll have free access to all our permanent collections, and of course our popular ‘Arts and Crafts House: Then and Now’ exhibition, featuring our William Morris wild flower meadow. There’s even a grounds tour at 1:30pm, where you can get a good grasp of the history and development of the 120 acre.

Whilst the interior of the mansion has been adapted for use as a gallery, there are many period features that show through, and of course there is the access to the Georgian chapel designed by ‘Capability’ Brown.

Do visit if you can, or if you’re not available please pass on the knowledge – why waste a golden opportunity!
