Opportunity for permanent 0hrs Chef based at Compton Verney
£9.28 per hour (meal on duty included)
You will be working as part of a busy kitchen delivering high quality local food. Qualified to either NVQ level 1/ 2 in Food Preparation and Cooking or City & Guilds 7061/ 2 with relevant kitchen experience. CIEH Level III (Intermediate) Food Hygiene is preferred along with a minimum of Level II (Basic) Health and Safety.
As an individual you should:
- have proven knowledge and delivery skills within a fine dining, plated service or self-service commercial environment
- be highly dedicated and passionate about the delivery, preparation and cooking of food
- assist with the control of stock and portions within the kitchen, ensuring that food hygiene legislation is adhered to at all times
- possess good communication skills along with a "can do" work ethic and be able to work within an established and highly experienced team.
This position will be based at the Café at Compton Verney. The Café is open Tuesday to Sunday inclusively, from late March to mid December. There will also be the opportunity to work within our other NEC venues during closure period.
